City of London Local Involvement Network (LINk) gives you the opportunity to influence your local health and care services. It is a local network of volunteers, backed by national law. Everyone can get involved, and it has been set up to make sure that people in our area get the health and social services they need.

Who can get involved?

Anyone can join City LINk: carers, service users, community leaders, patient representatives… everyone's views matter.

The LINk is made up of individuals and community groups who work together to improve local services. It will find out what people like and dislike about local services and work with the people who plan and run them to help make them better.  It has the power to implement small changes and influence big changes.

How can I get involved?

You don’t even need to come to meetings to join the LINk. It’s up to you how and when you get involved. You could comment on issues when contacted or choose to represent the community when a health or social care service is being discussed: it’s up to you.

City LINk will work by being the eyes and ears of the community. The LINk has legal powers to make your voice heard and will work in partnership with health and social care providers.

City LINk will help improve services for everyone in the area and needs contributions from people like you.

What would you like your LINk to do?

Your LINk wants to hear about your experiences of health and social services and your ideas for improvements and changes. The LINk will be directed by the concerns of its members.
